C.O.K.C. is a not-for-profit organization that:
  • furthers the advancement of all breeds of pure-bred dogs
  • conducts dog shows, obedience trials, and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

  • The Central Ohio breeders' directory lists the breeders in this area who may have puppies or grown dogs for sale.
  • Local and breed-specific rescue sites are listed for those who want to rescue an unwanted dog or puppy.
  • Members of COKC participate in offering training classes to the public on their own or through other groups.
  • Several members of COKC are professional dog show handlers.


COKC dog shows are held twice a year in November and April.


COKC Organization

  • The meetings are usually scheduled at a restaurant on the third Monday of each month, with dinner off the menu at 6:30 PM and the meeting starting at 7:30.
